Plan-B Theatre's production of Exposed October 19 - November 4

EXPOSED, a new play by KUED's Mary Dickson, combines personal memoir with
powerful historical documentation to capture the downwinder experience
and the human consequence of four decades of nuclear testing.

EXPOSED serves both to bear witness and give warning. While the pen may
be mightier than the sword, the eraser is mightier still. By bringing
her personal experiences to the stage, Mary Dickson is working to ensure
that our downwind history is never erased, nor relived.

Location: Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center
Opening night is already soldout. Seating is limited, so please order your tickets today.

Visit www.planbtheatre.org/exposed or call 801-355-ARTS for more
information.

(Joel and I are attending on October 27th at 8pm if anyone wants to come the same day)

LDS PEACE PROJECT

We as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints should stand apart from the world and stand for peace, not war. Hence the need for the Proclamation of Peace document . It serves as a guide for issues of war and peace. It is not provocative and is to be used as an
inspirational document for the saints to make critical decisions on all wars
or conflicts through out the world. I want the proclamation to have
credence, so it is appropriate to be read and discussed within official
Church entities. It can be as resource to issue particular statements or
actions on the Iraq war, Iran, terror, Middle East, Darfur crisis, etc., We
want the saints world wide to organize their own independent entities as to express their concerns or activism. Notice the efforts of Dutch Saints. I would like to present this document to general authorities.

Contact Bart Tippetts, the Salt Lake Chapter contact person at barttip@msn.com or call him at 801-859-8150 for updates on activities or if you want to join MESJ.
