Boston - Bulletin Board
Congratulations and thanks to all those who helped organize/run/ attend
the reunion last weekend. very cool to get a better sense for some of
our own local history here.
On oct 2 (this tuesday!) at 7pm, harvard bookstore (in harvard square,
mass ave and plympton st) generously offered to host our first mesj event
of the year: our very own laurel ulrich will be discussing her new book,
"well-behaved women seldom make history," a phrase i think she
picked up from a bumper sticker i've seen around town. ok, in all seriousness,
she will be speaking about her new book at an official event at harvard
bookstore, and it seemed like a very appropriate event for any mesj folks
who might be interested. (sidenote, the catchy title indeed appears everywhere,
but is her own...come find out more.)
details: tuesday october 2nd 7 pm
free, no tickets required
harvard bookstore (mass ave/plympton)
we're also looking forward to some sort of event for the new film troy
has been talking about (www.untoldstoryofbl ackmormons. com for trailers,
etc.) during the weekend of oct 12-14. more details forthcoming.
hope to see some of you tuesday night! (and good luck to laurel...)
