Welcome to the LDS-LEFT online community. Established in 2003, the group was designed to unite members and friends of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with political beliefs on the left side of the political dial. In 2006, the group merged with the mormon progressive congress, and was brought under the umbrella of Mormons for Equality and Social Justice (MESJ). While the group shares a loose affiliation with MESJ, members of all political, ideological, and religious backgrounds are encouraged to join us. Whether you are a slightly left leaning centrist, a democrat, a member of the Green party, or a socialist, this group is for you.
