For $10 a year, you can become a dues-paying, card-carrying member of MESJ. With membership comes the right to vote on what positions MESJ will take and what causes the organization will support.

Local chapters operate in several cities: consult the Chapter Finder to see if a chapter has been organized near you. If not, you can read in the MESJ Bylaws how to start one. However, you do not have to be part of a local chapter to be a member of MESJ.

In addition to paying their $10 yearly dues, MESJ members must sign the following pledge:

I subscribe to the MESJ Mission Statement and Statement of Principles.

I understand that MESJ is not a forum for criticizing the doctrines or policies of the LDS Church and that MESJ does not adopt positions on social or political issues which contradict official positions of the Church.

As a member of MESJ, I pledge to use my time, talents, and means to work for equality and social justice.
