Saturday 7PM MESJ Las Vegas Center The Las Vegas chapter will meet to watch the DVD: Truth and Conviction - The Helmuth Hubener Story Hitler's Nazi regime had seized unbelievable control over the German people, directing what they read, what they said--even what they believed. A whispered criticism of the Nazi Party could lead to a Gestapo interrogation and prison. But sixteen-year-old Helmuth Hubener saw through Hitler's lies and took action to let the truth be known. Helmuth Hubener and two friends from his LDS branch formed a resistance group. The three of them printed and distributed flyers through Hamburg that denounced that Hitler and has propaganda machine. This documentary chronicles what happened to these young men, and the ultimate price paid by those who dared to stand up for the truth
